PROCEDURES AND DEADLINES
March 21st- Election materials made available to students on the Hillel Website www.towsonhillel.org Deadline: March 28th- April 1st- Meet with Darlene to discuss your position choice. (You may e-mail Darlene at dsiegel@towson.edu with any questions and to set up a meeting time.)
April 3rd- Candidate application and must be sent by email to tuhillelelections@gmail.com
April 4th - 5th- Come to Hillel for your speech to be filmed. Speeches will be put up online to view and may be no longer than two minutes. You may film your own speech and email it in to Ken at kkrivitzky@towson.edu
April 6th- Candidate speeches go online for voters to view - on Youtube and the Hillel website
April 7th- Voter exemption form due. See Hillel website for more details if this applies to you.
April 10th- Live question and answer session in Hillel lounge from 12 to 4pm. Voters must sign in and watch speeches in order to vote.
April 11th - 13th- Recorded question and answer sessions will be made available in the Hillel lounge to watch if voters were unable to view them live.
April 14th- Election voting happens via gmail account from 9am to 6pm. Election results will be posted that night after approval by the Elections Commission.
Voting Requirements:
1. Voter must have attended five Hillel events during the 2010-2011 school year with three of those programs attended this current Spring semester and two attended during the Fall 2010 semester. There will be an exemption form for students to fill out if they need to and reviewed on April 7th by the Election Commission.
2. Voters must attend the live question and answer session and sign in on April 10th OR they must view the recorded question and answer session in the Hillel lounge and sign in proving they have done so
April 27th- If positions are not filled by the election procedure then Chairmanship application forms will be due this day to the gmail account created for elections.
May 9th- Towson University Hillel Annual Meeting and Student Officer Instillation on campus in the evening
