Ken is entering his 6th year as the Hillel director on campus. When not talking about his daughters, Sophie and Amelia, Ken can frequently be found eating lunch with students, brainstorming ideas for the growth of Hillel, or heading off to one of his numerous meetings.
Darlene Siegel, Director of Jewish Student Life
410 704 4671
dsiegel@towson.edu
Darlene has worked in a variety of settings in the Baltimore
Jewish Community for the past 25 years. When she is not at
the dollar store, Party City or the kosher food market buying or
schlepping supplies for programs…….Darlene can be found meeting
with individual students, sub-committees and student leaders
discussing program planning and development. Darlene is entering her 4th
year at Towson Hillel and when not surrounded by her talented
Hillel students, she most assuredly will be at home in her kitchen
baking, watching the Food Network or texting her 3 children.

Throughout my life it has been very important for me to be involved in helping to make a difference and contribute to the improvement of individuals’ lives. Making friends and building strong relationships both professionally and personally have been the key to my success and happiness. In Baltimore, I have supported the community for 20 years serving as a committee volunteer at different times and/or supporting an event to help procure funds for a diverse group of local organizations. I feel very fortunate to hold this challenging and rewarding position as Development Director and hope to help raise the continued funds needed to support our effort. I think it is important to provide support for our future generations and guide them with the understanding of giving back and helping other people in need.
