Jody Peskin is currently working as director of Jewish life for Hillel at Drexel University and just bought a house in Manayunk.
2005
Stacey Whitman is putting her double major in family studies and psychology to work, serving as a social worker for the Bucks County school district.
Linda Verbit is now attending grad school at Temple University for speech language pathology.
2006
Nicole Portnoy is working for one of the top orthopedic practices in the tri-state area. She is in their orthotics department. A former Pan Hellenic Council president and psychology major, she works part time for Young Jewish Leadership Concepts in Bucks County, PA as their outreach coordinator.
2008
Erica Abbey says, "I am now working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. as a photographer for the Folger Shakespeare Library. I am digitally archiving 10,000 items from out art vault, and it's such an experience! I also am starting my own photography freelancing business shooting events, portaits and group shots. I moved back home in Virginia for now, and miss Towson and Hillel very very much. Looking at Graduate schools for archiving for fall 2010. Can't wait to come back and visit."
Stephanie Reed is currently an AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) Member. AmeriCorps NCCC is a 10-month residential team based national service program for men and women ages 18-24. Throughout the 10-months, Corps Members do a total of 4 six-to-eight week service projects throughout the states ranging from mentoring kids, building homes, helping the environment, responding to disasters, and assisting with unmet human needs. For example, for her first project Stephanie and her team worked with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, rebuilding homes. After completing the NCCC program she plans on pursuing a master's degree in social work.
Chana Sandberg is a newly board certified occupational therapist and is about to start working for HCR Manor Care in Towson.
