Student Groups

Hillel Student Organization - Hillel is the umbrella organization for Jewish students at Towson. It provides leadership opportunities and funds for programming opportunities in a variety of areas.

ACHOT - A new interest group that is forming, preparing to become the first Jewish sorority on Towson’s campus. For more information, contact Alison Levine at alevine@towson.edu 

Alpha Epsilon Pi- A Jewish fraternity on campus that is a frequent partner of Hillel. For more information email Matthew Scher at mscher1@students.towson.edu

Chorus - We are in the process of forming a chorus. Please contact Darlene Siegel at dsiegel@towson.edu

FYSH - First Year Students of Hillel host different events and activities such as Freshman Fest in order to try to get Freshman actively involved in Hillel.

Kesher and Koach Kesher is our Reform movement affinity group and Koach is our Conservative movement affinity group. These groups help coordinate Shabbat and other services as well as organize programs within the movement ideologies.

Rosh Chodesh Committee Rosh Chodesh, the holiday for the new moon each month, is traditionally a women's holiday. This group will organize programs for women to celebrate the holiday each month..

Social Action Committee - Social Action is one of the core values of Towson Hillel. There is an active social action committee planning several events each semester. For more information, contact Jennifer Marker at jmarke1@towson.edu

Tigers for Israel - The pro-Israel advoacacy group at Towson. This group is actively in the midst of planning Israel at 60 programs. For more information, contact Ken Krivitzky at kkrivitzky@towson.edu

ZBT - The newest Jewish fraternity on campus, is also one of the fastest growing fraternities at Towson. For more information, visit www.towsonzbt.com
